Disaster Response Activated

Catholic Charities Disaster Response team activated to aid families affected by tornadoes and widespread flooding across Central Texas.
We are working with local officials to assess where and what is needed in each area. At this time, areas of concern are Bastrop, Brazos, Caldwell, Fayette, Lee, Travis and Washington counties. With more rains expected throughout the week, we expect the needs across our 25-county service area to change.

If you have been affected by flooding or tornadoes in Central Texas, call our disaster hotline at 512-766-7111. If no one answers, please leave a message and our Disaster Response team will respond ASAP.
How to Help
Catholic Charities is asking for monetary donations to support immediate and long-term recovery needs for victims across their service region. Financial gifts will allow the agency to help families with pressing needs, such as food, clothing and emergency shelter. Donations can be given by calling 512-651-6126 or visiting www.ccctx.org/donate.
Other ways to help, such as volunteers or collections of specific items, will be posted as needed.

Catholic Charities Disaster Response team works to stabilize and promote a return to normalcy and/or self-sufficiency for families impacted by disasters. We will activate to disaster events locally or nationally as need arises.
In coordination with local government officials and other first responders, each situation is assessed for the appropriate disaster response from Catholic Charities. Services will vary greatly depending on needs and resources, but may include:
- Emergency Financial Aid for Disaster Relief
- Expedited Document Replacement for proof of naturalization or other immigration related documents.
