
2023-24 ANNUAL REPORT
Catholic Charities of Central Texas celebrated the 25th anniversary of our founding during our 2023-24 fiscal year. Read on to see the many events and efforts we conducted during this landmark year.

CCCTX hosts dedication ceremony for new Killeen office.

CCCTX hosts Block Party to celebrate 25th Anniversary with supporters. The event included a service project to build school backpacks for refugee children.

St. Michael’s Veteran Services program celebrates Veterans Day by organizing an appreciation event for veterans at Temple, TX VA Hospital.


Refugee Resettlement Services introduces a client family to a Christmas tradition of the Trail of Lights in Austin, helping them connect with the local culture of their new home.

CCCTX launches “CC101 Tours” to give the Austin community a closer look into the services that support those in need, and see our work in action.

To commemorate our 25th Anniversary, St. Theresa Catholic Church and its school community set an ambitious goal of collecting 25,000 diapers for their neighbors in need. Great ambition resulted in great results, surpassing the goal and setting a record in the diocese for a school-based donation drive.

St. Gabriel’s Pregnancy and Parenting program hosts a baby shower for new and expectant mothers in Bastrop. The event, a partnership with Dell Children’s Healthplan, exemplifies the collaboration and coordination with other service programs that CCCTX provides its clients.

CCCTX partners with Mobile Loaves and Fishes and Greater Austin YMCA to host the “Love they Neighbor” event, with the goal of building connections in our community and starting an open dialogue about homelessness in Central Texas.

CCCTX hosts a “Birthday Week Celebration” for the community with daily events to commemorate the founding 25 years ago of Catholic Charities of Central Texas. Appreciation events acknowledged the vital hard work and contributions of the staff, volunteers, and donors. The celebration included special birthday gifts for all CCCTX clients that included board games, books, and cupcakes. The board games were generously donated by CCCTX supporters as a special way for family members to bond while in the midst of difficult times.

CCCTX is featured in Catholic Spirit Magazine highlighting 25 years of impact.

CCCTX Disaster Response team helps families recover from the Temple Tornado.

St Michael’s Veteran Services distributes employment and self-care kits to female veterans currently interviewing for or starting new jobs. These kits were designed to help these veterans look and feel their best by providing free personal items, hair tools, and a gift card for purchasing professional wardrobe items.
