Ethics and Integrity in Ministry (EIM) Compliance Information
At Catholic Charities, the safety and well-being of everyone we serve is our highest priority. To help ensure this, our staff and most volunteers complete a short certification through the Diocese of Austin called Ethics and Integrity in Ministry (EIM). This training helps prevent abuse and teaches trainees how to recognize and report concerns. It’s a simple but important step we take together to care for our community.
EIM Compliance Information
The mission of the Diocese of Austin’s Ethics and Integrity in Ministry (EIM) program is to help protect people from abuse and unethical behavior through education, action, and reporting, and to listen to and learn from those who have experienced abuse in order to provide healing. EIM compliance is required for persons active in most ministries in the diocese.
