    Notice Regarding New Clients and Referrals

    Federal funding uncertainty has impacted refugee service providers across the U.S., including Catholic Charities of Central Texas (CCCTX).

    At this time, CCCTX will not be able to accept new clients or referrals through our Refugee Resettlement Services program.

    CCCTX will continue to serve anyone in need by strengthening families and promoting respect for human dignity and life through our other programs.

    About the Program

    We’ve expanded our Immigration Legal Services to include Refugee Resettlement Services, a program dedicated to helping refugees socially adjust as they start their new life here in Central Texas. It will include a wide range of social services, such as:

    • Cultural adjustment services
    • Employment placement and support services
    • Enrollment in refugee health insurance and cash assistance programs
    • Educational system navigation and support for Central Texas students and their families
    • Assistance signing up for government benefits programs such as TANF and SNAP
    • And personalized referrals to other CCCTX services, including:

    These services are available to refugees, asylees, victims of trafficking, unaccompanied minors, and other qualified groups. If you or someone you know needs access to these services, our multilingual staff is ready to help at 512-651-6125.

    If you think you may qualify for these services, please call us at 512-651-6125 and leave a voicemail with your contact information. We will return your call and and schedule a consultation with our intake specialist.
